Terms of Service

These terms govern your installation and use of PrudiX Commerce ("the App") from the Shopify App Store. By installing, you agree to these terms.

1. Acceptance

Installing PrudiX Commerce on your Shopify store constitutes acceptance of these terms. If you don't agree, don't install - or uninstall before generating any content.

2. What the App does

PrudiX Commerce is an AI commerce suite that bundles six flagships: Bulk Catalog Audit, Content Kits, Sales Leak Finder, Customer Retention Operator, Inventory & Cash Flow Operator, and AI Concierge. Each flagship reads data from your Shopify store and uses third-party LLM providers (OpenAI, Anthropic) to generate content, recommendations, and analytics surfaced in our embedded dashboard or - for the AI Concierge - your storefront product pages.

3. Your responsibilities

  • You're responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before publishing it on your storefront, sending it to shoppers, or pushing it to a third-party tool (Klaviyo, ESP, etc.).
  • You must comply with applicable laws and Shopify's terms when using the App.
  • You're responsible for the accuracy, legality, and intellectual property of any content you input or publish, including merchant-supplied Knowledge Base sources for the AI Concierge.
  • You're responsible for granting the App the Shopify scopes it requests at install. Refusing a scope may disable specific flagships.

4. Billing

Billing is handled by Shopify under their App Billing API. You're billed monthly (or annually if selected) via your Shopify payment method. Plan changes take effect immediately for upgrades and at the next billing cycle for downgrades. We do not see your payment card information.

5. Trial

Every plan ships a 7-day free trial with a per-tier generation allowance (15 Starter, 25 Growth, 50 Pro). The trial does not require a credit card upfront - Shopify handles authorization. Trials are one-per-shop; uninstalling and reinstalling does not reset the trial.

6. Generation limits

Each plan includes a fixed number of generations per billing cycle (200 Starter, 500 Growth, 1,200 Pro). Failed LLM calls are automatically refunded to your budget. Once you reach 100% of your limit, generation is blocked until renewal or upgrade - we do not charge overage fees.

7. AI output disclaimer

AI output is generated based on the data you provide. We don't guarantee accuracy, factual correctness, brand voice fidelity, or fitness for any particular purpose. Always review and edit before publishing. You are solely responsible for content you publish to your storefront, send to shoppers, or push to third-party marketing tools.

The AI Concierge widget shows shoppers AI-generated answers; we render clear provenance badges ("Reviewed by [Shop] ✓" for merchant-verified answers, "AI-generated" otherwise) but the merchant remains responsible for the accuracy of answers shoppers see.

8. Cancellation

Cancel anytime via your Shopify admin. You retain full App access through the end of your paid billing period, plus a 7-day read-only grace window to export data. Uninstall purges all your shop data within 30 days of uninstall (immediately on a Shopify shop/redact webhook).

9. Service availability

We aim for 99.9% uptime but make no formal SLA. Scheduled maintenance and incidents are communicated at status.prudix.app (once live).

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PrudiX is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to lost revenue from AI-generated content, missed sales, or third-party processor outages. Total liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the trailing 12 months.

11. Changes to terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated by email to active merchants at least 14 days before they take effect.
